I tend to finish after everyone in NZ, and while I&#8217;m still suffering of lack of sleep I see photos of everyone having a good time celebrating the end of another year and seeing each other again in Christchurch.</p> <p>And it&#8217;s really hard not to miss that. Friends you spent years with and familiar places.</p> <p>I guess I got used to saying that I&#8217;m all good and always good that even if I feel crap and distant from everyone I&#8217;m close to here, I don&#8217;t say anything.</p> <p>It&#8217;s nothing against my friends and I love them to bits and they should know that.</p> <p>But maybe it&#8217;s that sinking feeling that you get for not being back in so long and you realise that old friends eventually forget about you and people move on.
